Inmediate response,
safely and with the highest quality
AMM is divided into 4 sectors:
Casting, Machining, Grinding and Quality Control.

Casting sector, occupying 1,190 m2, divided into three sections: Oven, mould and cutting areas.

Equipped with three gantry cranes, two medium frequency 12-ton capacity induction furnaces (INDUCTOTHERM) and two casting ladles (Holding five and eight tons respectively).

AMM can manufacture in all commonly used alloys in CU1, CU2, CU3, CU4 and adapt to any new alloy required.

Its main features are:
Casting system using silica, silicate and ester sands.
Drawings and test moulds before casting.
Maintenance and repair of models for propellers.
Two Turbo High Performance Mixers with a total capacity of 20 Tm / hour, fed by two 75-ton silos.
A calibrated and verified digital contact pyrometer to control casting, degassing and quality.

Automatic control of sand in the silos, additives in the mix, temperature, humidity, grade and the final mix going to the mould.

Machining sector - Occupying 322m2, equipped with two 16-ton gantry cranes, three vertical lathes with a 2650-mm swing capacity, one CNC machine and other digitally controlled auxiliary machines.

Polishing sector - Occupying 322m2, equipped with two 16-ton gantry cranes, eight polishing and finishing boxes and two static balancing boxes for blades and propellers.

Quality Control - Occupying 126m2, with a laboratory equipped with a modern chemical analysis machine (Spectromax), a hardness tester and traction machine (Hoytom) and other equipment for calibration of practically all the measurement equipment.

Its main features are:

  • A three-dimensional measuring arm to analyse all products and verify the models before using for casting.
  • A Heindehain system digitised Pitchmeter, with control of diameters, heights and degrees.
  • Surface control using penetrating fluids, carried out by externally qualified technicians, Certification level II.
  • Roughness test for control surfaces both for machined and polished surfaces.
International Production Certification through the following classification bodies: GL, ABS, LR, DNV and BV.
